To the (book)ends of the earth and back

This past week has been a journey, that’s for sure. Here’s what I’ve been doing lately along that journey…

♥ … learning a lot from the Oxford English Dictionary’s list of top 20 fashion-related words. My fave (word, not fashion item) was the winkle-picker! Also, did you know that they have a blog? I sure didn’t, but it’s now bookmarked!

♥ … marveling at these miniature forest bookends (see right). They make me want to reread Heidi.

♥ … judging an airline by its uniforms. My faves on this page are the uniforms from Asiana Airlines and Singapore Airlines. My fave in real life (so far) are the Oman Air uniforms.

♥ … reading about the coolest author/musician collaborations. Kurt Cobain and William S. Burroughs? Mind-blowing.
