Oscar-nominated literary adaptations

My lovely husband sent along this intriguing online article from the Huffington Post that highlights 11 Oscar book adaptions, thinking I would like it. He was right! Turns out, 11 literary adaptations were nominated in major categories this year, including 2/3 of the Best Picture nominees. WOW!

The list includes Moneyball, Hugo (click here for a prior post on that), The Descendants, The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo, and Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy.

So far, I’ve only watched 3 of the 11 literary adaptations (yikes), and read only 1 of the books (double yikes). Looks like my to-do list just got a bit longer…
